Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Casserole

Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Casserole is a delicious dessert that combines the flavors of cheesecake with the convenience of crescent rolls. Here’s how you can prepare it:

Ingredients:

For the Cheesecake Filling:

  • 2 packages (8 ounces each) of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

For the Crescent Roll Layers:

  • 2 cans (8 ounces each) of refrigerated crescent rolls

For the Topping:

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or casserole dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until it’s smooth and creamy.
  3. Add in the sugar and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until the mixture is well combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until the batter is smooth. Set the cheesecake filling aside.
  5. Open one can of crescent rolls and carefully unroll it without separating the dough into individual triangles. Press it into the bottom of the greased baking dish, making sure to seal any perforations or seams to create a single sheet of dough.
  6. Spread the prepared cheesecake filling evenly over the crescent roll layer.

  1. Open the second can of crescent rolls and again unroll it without separating the triangles. Place it on top of the cheesecake layer, gently pressing the edges to seal them.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar, and ground cinnamon. Drizzle this mixture evenly over the top layer of crescent rolls.
  3. Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cheesecake layer is set. The center may still be slightly jiggly, but it will continue to firm up as it cools.
  4. Remove the casserole from the oven and allow it to cool to room temperature. Then, refrigerate it for at least a couple of hours or until it’s completely chilled and set.
  5. Once the Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Casserole has cooled and set, slice it into squares or rectangles and serve. You can garnish it with powdered sugar, fresh berries, or a dollop of whipped cream if desired.

Enjoy your delicious Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Casserole! It’s a delightful treat that combines the creamy goodness of cheesecake with the flaky layers of crescent rolls.
