Some recipes don’t need a long ingredient list to become a family favorite—and this is one of them. These Slow Cooker Brown Sugar Ham Bites were born on one of those busy days when the house was full, the schedule was packed, and I needed something easy that still felt homemade. I tossed everything into the slow cooker, walked away, and a few hours later the kitchen smelled sweet, cozy, and absolutely irresistible.
The ham turns tender and juicy while the brown sugar melts into a sticky glaze that coats every bite. It’s the kind of recipe that makes people hover around the slow cooker, sneaking “just one more piece.” Whether you’re making these for holidays, potlucks, game day, or an easy supper, this is one of those no-fail dishes you’ll come back to again and again.
Ingredients (4 only)
2–3 lbs fully cooked ham, cut into bite-size cubes
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup honey (or maple syrup)
½ cup pineapple juice (or orange juice)
Instructions
Add ham bites to the slow cooker.
Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over the ham.
Pour honey and pineapple juice on top.
Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours or HIGH for 1½–2 hours, stirring once if possible.
Serve warm with toothpicks or over rice.
Notes
Great as an appetizer or main dish.
Add a pinch of cloves or cinnamon for holiday flavor (optional).
Leftovers reheat beautifully and make amazing sandwiches.
