Ingredients
2 lbs beef stew meat or chuck, cubed
1 small onion, chopped
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
2 cups beef broth
1 packet onion soup mix
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Cooked egg noodles, for serving
Instructions
Place beef, onion, and mushrooms in the slow cooker.
Pour beef broth over the top and sprinkle with onion soup mix.
Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours, until beef is very tender.
Stir in cream of mushroom soup and sour cream.
Cook an additional 20–30 minutes on LOW until creamy and heated through.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve generously over warm egg noodles.
