Looking for the perfect party appetizer or game day snack? These Jalapeño Popper Bacon Pinwheels have all the creamy, cheesy, smoky flavors you love — rolled up in buttery puff pastry and baked to golden perfection. Spicy, savory, and totally irresistible, they’re a guaranteed crowd-pleaser!
Ingredients:
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1–2 jalapeños, finely diced (remove seeds for less heat)
6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon chopped green onions (optional)
1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, bacon, garlic powder, and green onions.
Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the puff pastry.
Roll the pastry tightly into a log (like a jelly roll).
Slice into about ½-inch thick pinwheels.
Place the pinwheels on the baking sheet.
Brush the tops lightly with egg wash (1 beaten egg with a splash of water).
Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
Let cool slightly before serving.
Tips:
For extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the filling.
You can also use crescent dough sheets instead of puff pastry if preferred.
