Ingredients:

– 1 tablespoon cornstarch slurry made with 2 tablespoons water

– For the Noodles and Stir-fry:
– 8 oz steak (such as sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced
– 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 8 oz noodles (such as udon or lo mein)
– 2 tbsp vegetable oil
– 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
– 1 carrot, julienned
– 1 cup broccoli florets
– 2 green onions, chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 inch ginger, minced
– Sesame seeds for garnish
– Green onions for garnish

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Teriyaki Sauce:
– Combine the soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sugar in a small pot.
– Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
– Add the cornstarch slurry and continue to cook until the sauce thickens. Set aside.

2. Cook the Noodles:
– Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

3. Cook the Steak and Shrimp:
– In a big skillet or wok, heat up one tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
