Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken Pasta is a delicious and comforting dish that’s easy to prepare.

  • 1 pound (about 450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 2 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces (about 225g) uncooked pasta (such as penne or fettuccine)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

  1. Prepare the Slow Cooker:
    • Lightly grease the slow cooker insert to prevent sticking.
  2. Combine Ingredients:
    • Place the chicken pieces, chopped onion, minced garlic, diced tomatoes (undrained), cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, dried basil, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and pepper into the slow cooker. Stir well to combine.
  3. Cook on Low:
    • Cover and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  4. Add Pasta:
    • About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the uncooked pasta. Make sure the pasta is submerged in the liquid as much as possible.
  5. Add Cream and Cheese:
    • Once the pasta is cooked through and tender, stir in the heavy cream and shredded Parmesan cheese. Let it cook for an additional 10-15 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

  1. Serve:
    • Once everything is heated through and the sauce is creamy, taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
  2. Enjoy:
    • Serve this delicious Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken Pasta with a side of garlic bread or a simple salad for a satisfying meal.

This recipe is quite versatile, so feel free to adjust the seasonings and add your favorite vegetables like spinach, bell peppers, or mushrooms for extra flavor and nutrition.
