Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef chuck, cut into chunks

  • 3 cups baby potatoes

  • 2 cups carrots, sliced

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 8 oz mushrooms

  • 1 cup red wine

  • 1 cup beef broth

  • 2 Tbsp tomato paste

  • 2 Tbsp flour

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp dried thyme

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

One-Pour Wine Mixture

In a bowl, whisk together:

  • Red wine

  • Beef broth

  • Tomato paste

  • Flour

  • Garlic

  • Thyme

(Once mixed, you’ll pour it all in at once—easy and mess-free.)

Instructions

  1. Place beef, potatoes, carrots, onion, and mushrooms into the slow cooker.

  2. Pour the wine mixture evenly over everything.

  3. Gently stir to combine.

  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours, until beef is fork-tender.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Serving Ideas
