Some nights, I just want dinner to taste like I spent hours in the kitchen — without actually doing it! This recipe was born on one of those busy evenings when I needed something fast, comforting, and full of flavor. I tossed a few simple ingredients into my slow cooker — butter, garlic, shrimp, and a squeeze of lemon — and the smell that filled the kitchen was heavenly.
By the time dinner rolled around, the shrimp were perfectly tender, swimming in rich, garlicky butter sauce that begged for some crusty bread. It’s amazing how just five ingredients can turn into something that feels so special!
Ingredients:
1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
½ cup (1 stick) butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced (or 1½ tsp garlic powder)
1 lemon, sliced
1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional: add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat)
Instructions:
Add shrimp to your slow cooker.
Pour melted butter over the shrimp.
Add garlic, lemon slices, and Italian seasoning.
Cover and cook on LOW for 1 to 1½ hours, or until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
Serve warm over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread to soak up that garlic butter! 😋
Tip: Don’t overcook — shrimp cook fast even in a slow cooker!
