Sometimes it’s hard to choose between pizza night and burger night, so why not have the best of both worlds? These Mini Pizza Burgers are a family favorite in our house, especially when we want something fun and easy to share. Imagine juicy little burger patties topped with pizza sauce, melty mozzarella, and pepperoni, all tucked inside soft slider buns. They’re perfect for game days, parties, or even a casual dinner when you want something different. The best part? Kids love helping assemble them, and they disappear off the plate in no time!
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey/chicken)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
12 slider buns (or small dinner rolls, split)
1 cup pizza sauce
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
24 slices mini pepperoni (or regular pepperoni, cut smaller)
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for brushing buns)
Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Make patties: In a bowl, mix ground beef with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Shape into 12 small patties.
Cook patties: Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook patties for about 3 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through.
Assemble sliders: Place bottom halves of buns on a baking sheet. Add cooked patties, then spoon about 1 tbsp of pizza sauce over each. Sprinkle with mozzarella, top with 2 slices of pepperoni, and a little Parmesan.
Bake: Place under the oven (or broiler) for 5–7 minutes, until cheese melts and buns are lightly toasted.
Finish & serve: Top with the upper buns (you can brush them with olive oil for extra flavor) and garnish with fresh basil if desired.
✅ Tips:
Swap pepperoni for cooked sausage crumbles, mushrooms, or veggies for variety.
Use Hawaiian rolls for a slightly sweet twist.
Great for make-ahead—assemble, refrigerate, then bake just before serving.
