This Slow Cooker Savory Ground Beef Chow Mein is the perfect weeknight dinner — packed with flavor, tender veggies, and satisfying noodles. Just toss it all in the slow cooker and come back to a warm, comforting meal the whole family will love!
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup chopped celery
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 can (15 oz) bean sprouts, drained
1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce (optional for extra flavor)
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp black pepper
8 oz chow mein noodles or cooked spaghetti
Green onions & sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Brown the beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain any excess fat.Add to slow cooker:
Transfer beef mixture to the slow cooker. Add carrots, celery, bell pepper, and bean sprouts.Mix sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin, oyster sauce (if using), sesame oil, ginger, and pepper. Pour over the beef and vegetables.Cook:
Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until veggies are tender.Add noodles:
About 15–20 minutes before serving, stir in cooked chow mein noodles or spaghetti. Let them soak up the sauce.Serve:

Note:
For the best texture, add the cooked noodles toward the end of the cooking time so they don’t become mushy.
