Tiramisu Pudding Cups Recipe

These individual tiramisu pudding cups are a quick and easy take on the classic Italian dessert, combining layers of creamy mascarpone pudding, coffee-soaked cookies, and cocoa powder.

Ingredients:

  • For the Pudding Layer:
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • 8 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
    • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For the Coffee Layer:
    • 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso, cooled
    • 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur (optional)
  • Other Layers:
    • 12 ladyfinger cookies, broken into small pieces
    • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, for dusting
    • Chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions : 

Prepare the Pudding Mixture:

  • Beat the heavy cream in a bowl until it reaches soft peaks.
  • In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.

Soak the Cookies:

  • Stir together the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur (if using).
  • Lightly dip the ladyfinger pieces into the coffee mixture, ensuring they don’t become overly saturated.

Assemble the Dessert Cups:

  • Arrange a layer of the coffee-soaked ladyfingers at the bottom of individual serving cups.
  • Spoon a portion of the mascarpone pudding over the cookies.
  • Repeat the process until the cups are fully layered.

Garnish & Chill:

  • Dust with cocoa powder and sprinkle chocolate shavings if desired.
    • Refrigerate for at least 1;40min  to allow the flavors to meld.

Serving Tip:


Enjoy chilled, and for an extra touch, top with fresh berries or a dollop of whipped cream.
