Tiramisu Pudding Cups Recipe
These individual tiramisu pudding cups are a quick and easy take on the classic Italian dessert, combining layers of creamy mascarpone pudding, coffee-soaked cookies, and cocoa powder.
Ingredients:
- For the Pudding Layer:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- For the Coffee Layer:
- 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee or espresso, cooled
- 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur (optional)
- Other Layers:
- 12 ladyfinger cookies, broken into small pieces
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, for dusting
- Chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions :
Prepare the Pudding Mixture:
- Beat the heavy cream in a bowl until it reaches soft peaks.
- In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
Soak the Cookies:
- Stir together the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur (if using).
- Lightly dip the ladyfinger pieces into the coffee mixture, ensuring they don’t become overly saturated.
Assemble the Dessert Cups:
- Arrange a layer of the coffee-soaked ladyfingers at the bottom of individual serving cups.
- Spoon a portion of the mascarpone pudding over the cookies.
- Repeat the process until the cups are fully layered.
Garnish & Chill:
- Dust with cocoa powder and sprinkle chocolate shavings if desired.
- Refrigerate for at least 1;40min to allow the flavors to meld.
