½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp paprika (optional)
Salt & pepper, to taste
Olive or vegetable oil (for frying)

Bowl 1: Flour
Bowl 2: Beaten eggs
Bowl 3: Breadcrumbs + garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt & pepper
Bread the Mushrooms:
Roll each mushroom in the flour.
Dip into the egg mixture.
Coat with the seasoned breadcrumbs, pressing gently so it sticks.
Fry Until Golden:
Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. When hot (a breadcrumb should sizzle), fry mushrooms in batches for 2–3 minutes per side or until crispy and golden brown.Drain & Serve:
Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce — ranch, garlic aioli, or marinara are perfect!
Note:
For extra flavor, try adding grated Parmesan cheese to the breadcrumb mix. You can also swap out the spices to match your taste — smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, or a pinch of cayenne all work great! Want a healthier version? These mushrooms can be baked or air-fried instead of fried.
