Pork Chop Supreme

Pork Chop Supreme

Pork Chop Supreme is a comforting, easy-to-make dinner that’s packed with flavor! With tender pork chops smothered in a creamy mushroom sauce and baked to perfection, this dish is perfect for a weeknight meal or a cozy Sunday dinner. Serve it up with mashed potatoes, rice, or your favorite side, and you’ll have a meal that everyone will love.

Ingredients:

  • 4-6 pork chops (bone-in or boneless)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 1 tablespoon oil or butter

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

  • 1/2 cup milk or water

  • 1 small onion, sliced

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Optional: 1/2 cup sour cream (for extra creaminess)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

  3. In a skillet, sear pork chops in oil/butter on medium-high heat until lightly browned (about 2-3 mins per side). Remove and set aside.

  4. In a bowl, mix soup and milk (and sour cream if using) until smooth.

  5. In a greased baking dish, layer sliced onions, then place the pork chops on top.

  6. Pour soup mixture over the pork chops, spreading evenly.

  7. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 15 minutes, or until pork is tender.

Note:
For extra flavor, try adding sliced mushrooms or a sprinkle of cheese on top before baking. Bone-in pork chops tend to stay juicier, but boneless works just as well. You can also swap cream of mushroom soup for cream of chicken or celery for a different twist!
