Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 8 slices of bacon

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella)

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Toothpicks (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Mix filling: In a bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Prepare chicken: Butterfly each chicken breast (slice through the side without cutting all the way).

  4. Stuff each breast with a couple spoonfuls of the cheese mixture. Close the breast and secure with toothpicks if needed.

  5. Wrap with bacon: Wrap 2 slices of bacon around each chicken breast, tucking the ends underneath.

  6. Bake in a greased baking dish for 30–35 minutes, or until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).

  7. Broil for 2–3 minutes at the end to crisp up the bacon if desired.

Optional Add-ons:

  • Add chopped spinach or jalapeños to the filling

  • Sprinkle with paprika or BBQ seasoning before baking

Note:
For extra crispy bacon, you can partially cook the bacon for 3–4 minutes before wrapping the chicken. Just don’t cook it all the way—this helps it crisp up without overcooking the chicken. Also, let the chicken rest for a few minutes after baking to keep it juicy! 🥓🍗✨
