Ingredients:

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/2 lb ground beef (or sausage, pepperoni, or any meat)
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sautéed onions, peppers, or mushrooms (optional)
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce (or ranch, BBQ sauce, etc.)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the meat: In a skillet, cook the ground beef (or sausage) over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Roll out the dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle.
  4. Layer the fillings: Spread sauce over the dough, then add cooked meat, bacon, veggies, and cheeses. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  5. Roll it up: Starting from one long side, roll the dough into a log, pinching the edges to seal.
  6. Brush with egg wash: Beat the egg and brush it over the dough for a golden crust.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Slice & serve: Let cool slightly, then slice into pieces. Serve with extra sauce for dipping!
