Homemade Payday Candy Bars

Sure! Here’s a recipe for Homemade Payday Candy Bars:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups salted peanuts
  • 2 cups peanut butter chips
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups crispy rice cereal

Instructions:

  1. Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Set it aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the salted peanuts and crispy rice cereal. Set aside.
  3. In a medium saucepan, combine the peanut butter chips, honey, sugar, and unsalted butter. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly until the chips and butter have melted and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Pour the mixture over the peanuts and crispy rice cereal in the mixing bowl. Stir well until everything is evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan. Use a spatula or the back of a spoon to press it firmly and evenly into the pan.
  6. Place the pan in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 2 hours, or until the bars are firm and set.

  1. Once the bars are completely chilled and set, remove them from the pan by lifting the parchment paper or by loosening the edges with a knife and carefully transferring them to a cutting board.
  2. Use a sharp knife to cut the chilled mixture into bars of your desired size.
  3. Homemade Payday Candy Bars are ready to be enjoyed! You can store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.

Note: Feel free to customize the recipe by adding melted chocolate drizzle on top or mixing in other ingredients like chocolate chips or dried fruit before pressing the mixture into the pan.
