2-INGREDIENT ORANGE SHERBERT!!! FUN & EASY!

Preparing a 2-ingredient orange sherbet is indeed a fun and easy task! Here’s a simple recipe to guide you through the process:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of orange juice (freshly squeezed or store-bought)
  • 1 can (14 ounces) of sweetened condensed milk
  • Optional: Orange zest or orange slices for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Ensure that the orange juice is chilled before starting the preparation.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the orange juice and sweetened condensed milk.
  3. Using a whisk or electric mixer, blend the mixture thoroughly until well combined and smooth. Make sure there are no lumps.

  1. If desired, you can add a teaspoon of orange zest to enhance the orange flavor. Mix it into the mixture.
  2. Pour the mixture into a shallow, freezer-safe container or a loaf pan. Make sure the container is large enough to hold the mixture with some room for expansion.
  3. Cover the container with a lid or plastic wrap to prevent ice crystals from forming. Place it in the freezer.
  4. Let the sherbet mixture freeze for at least 6 hours or until it reaches a firm consistency. You can also leave it overnight.

  1. Once the sherbet is frozen, remove it from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly before serving.
  2. Scoop the orange sherbet into serving bowls or cones.
  3. If desired, garnish with a sprinkle of orange zest or a slice of fresh orange on top.
  4. Enjoy your homemade 2-ingredient orange sherbet!

Note: The sherbet may become quite firm after prolonged freezing. If it’s too hard, you can let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften before scooping. You can also transfer the sherbet to the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to make it easier to scoop.

Remember, this recipe is for a simple 2-ingredient orange sherbet. If you want to experiment with flavors, you can add other ingredients like vanilla extract, lemon juice, or even mix in small fruit pieces to customize your sherbet.
