Lemon dessert

Here’s a recipe for a delicious lemon dessert called Lemon Bars:


  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Powdered sugar for dusting


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, softened butter, and powdered sugar. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture into a 8×8 inch baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
  4. While the crust is baking, prepare the lemon filling. In another mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, granulated sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and baking powder.

  1. Pour the lemon mixture over the baked crust and bake for another 20-25 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is lightly golden brown.
  2. Let the bars cool completely before slicing them into squares. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
