Meatloaf recipe

Here’s a simple recipe for meatloaf that you can try:


  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped carrot
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs and milk. Let it sit for a few minutes until the breadcrumbs absorb the milk.
  3. Add the ground beef, eggs, onion, celery, carrot, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper to the bowl with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Use your hands to mix everything together until it is well combined.

  1. Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it into a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature of the meatloaf reaches 160°F (71°C).
  3. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
