• 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, onion, green bell pepper, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the mixture in a loaf pan or shape it into a loaf on a baking sheet.

  1. Bake the meatloaf for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  2. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Optional: Top with ketchup, tomato sauce or barbecue sauce before baking for added flavor.
