Chicken and Dressing Casserole

Here’s a recipe for Chicken and Dressing Casserole:


  • 2 cups of cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup of sour cream
  • 1/2 cup of chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup of diced onion
  • 1/4 cup of diced celery
  • 1/4 cup of diced bell pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 6 cups of prepared cornbread dressing


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken broth, diced onion, diced celery, diced bell pepper, dried sage, dried thyme, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. In a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish, spread 3 cups of prepared cornbread dressing on the bottom.
  4. Pour the chicken mixture over the cornbread dressing and spread it out evenly.

  1. Spread the remaining 3 cups of cornbread dressing over the top of the chicken mixture.
  2. Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  3. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is heated through.
  4. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
