Fried onions, onions and smoked glaze sausage

Here’s a recipe for Fried Onions, Onions, and Smoked Glazed Sausage:


  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 4 smoked glazed sausages, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter or oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste


  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add butter or oil and allow it to melt.
  2. Add sliced onions to the skillet and stir occasionally for 5-7 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown and caramelized.
  3. Remove the onions from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add sliced smoked glazed sausages to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the sausages are browned and heated through.

  1. Return the cooked onions to the skillet with the sausages and stir to combine.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Serve hot and enjoy! This dish can be served on its own or as a side dish with rice, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread.
