ULTIMATE Chicken Casserole

Here’s a recipe for an Ultimate Chicken Casserole:


  • 4 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Optional toppings: sliced green onions or chopped fresh parsley


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mayonnaise, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add the cooked and shredded chicken to the bowl and stir until well combined.
  4. Pour the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the chicken mixture.

  1. In a separate bowl, mix together the crushed Ritz crackers and melted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. Sprinkle the cracker mixture over the top of the cheese layer.
  3. Bake the casserole for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is heated through.
  4. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. You can sprinkle some sliced green onions or chopped fresh parsley over the top as a garnish, if desired.
