Mac and cheese recipe

Here’s a simple recipe for classic Mac and Cheese:

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the flour and whisk constantly for 1-2 minutes until the mixture turns golden.
  4. Slowly pour in the milk, whisking constantly to prevent lumps from forming.
  5. Cook the mixture for 5-7 minutes, or until it thickens and starts to bubble.

  1. Add the shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper to the mixture. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  2. Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until well combined.
  3. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Note: You can also bake the mac and cheese for a crispy, golden top. Simply transfer the mixture to a baking dish, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and a little extra cheese, and bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes.
