Slow Cooker Barbequed Beef Ribs

Here’s a recipe for Slow Cooker Barbequed Beef Ribs:

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 lbs beef ribs
  • 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Start by removing the membrane from the back of the ribs. To do this, use a knife to loosen the membrane on one end of the rack of ribs, then grab it with a paper towel and pull it off. This will help the seasoning penetrate the meat more evenly and make the ribs more tender.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Place the ribs into your slow cooker and pour the BBQ sauce mixture over them, making sure to coat all sides.

  1. Cook the ribs on low heat for 6-8 hours or on high heat for 4-5 hours. The ribs should be tender and falling off the bone.
  2. Once the ribs are done cooking, carefully remove them from the slow cooker and place them on a baking sheet. Brush them with additional BBQ sauce and broil them in the oven for 3-5 minutes until caramelized and slightly charred.
  3. Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious Slow Cooker Barbequed Beef Ribs!
