Here’s a recipe for Slow Cooker Barbequed Beef Ribs:
Ingredients:
- 3-4 lbs beef ribs
- 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- Start by removing the membrane from the back of the ribs. To do this, use a knife to loosen the membrane on one end of the rack of ribs, then grab it with a paper towel and pull it off. This will help the seasoning penetrate the meat more evenly and make the ribs more tender.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Place the ribs into your slow cooker and pour the BBQ sauce mixture over them, making sure to coat all sides.
- Cook the ribs on low heat for 6-8 hours or on high heat for 4-5 hours. The ribs should be tender and falling off the bone.
- Once the ribs are done cooking, carefully remove them from the slow cooker and place them on a baking sheet. Brush them with additional BBQ sauce and broil them in the oven for 3-5 minutes until caramelized and slightly charred.
- Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious Slow Cooker Barbequed Beef Ribs!
