Longhorn Parmesan Crusted Chicken

Longhorn Parmesan Crusted Chicken is a delicious dish that can be made at home with just a few simple ingredients. Here’s a recipe to get you started:

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the flour in a shallow dish and season with salt and pepper. Beat the eggs in a separate shallow dish.
  3. In another shallow dish, mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. Coat each chicken breast in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess. Then dip the chicken into the beaten eggs, followed by the breadcrumb mixture, pressing the mixture onto the chicken to ensure it sticks.**

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  2. Transfer the chicken to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown and crispy.
  3. Serve hot with your favorite sides and enjoy!

Note: You can also use a meat mallet to pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness before coating to ensure they cook evenly.
