Meatball Boats

Meatball boats are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that can be enjoyed by the whole family. Here is a recipe to help you prepare meatball boats:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4-6 hoagie rolls
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  3. Roll the meat mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the meatballs in a large baking dish, and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the hoagie rolls by slicing them lengthwise, but not all the way through. Gently press down on the rolls to create a slight indentation in the center.

  1. Once the meatballs are done cooking, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a separate dish.
  2. Spoon some marinara sauce into each hoagie roll, and place a few meatballs on top.
  3. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the meatballs.
  4. Place the filled hoagie rolls back into the oven, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Remove from the oven, let them cool for a few minutes, and then serve and enjoy your delicious meatball boa
