Fried potatoes and onions

  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Begin by washing and peeling the potatoes. Cut them into slices, about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. Peel the onion and slice it into thin rings.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Once the oil is hot, add the sliced potatoes and onions to the pan. Spread them out in an even layer.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
