Funnel Cake


°8 cups vegetable oil for frying

°1 1/2 cups milk

°2 large eggs

°2 cups all-purpose flour

°1 teaspoon baking powder

°Half a teaspoon ground cinnamon

°Half a teaspoon of salt

°Half a c confectioners’ sugar

* Methods :

In a deep fryer or heavy frying pan, heat the oil to 375°F (190°C).

In bowl, whisk milk / eggs. Mix the flour with the baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Stir in the egg mixture until smooth.

While covering the opening of the funnel with one hand, pour 1 cup of the mixture. Start from the center in a circular motion to make 6 or 7 inches. Fry on both sides until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar and serve hot.
