2 sticks butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 large eggs
2 cups granulated sugar
¾ cup cocoa
1 cup all purpose flour
½ tsp baking powder
1.4 tsp salt
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
⅔ cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups Milky Way, chopped
Preheat the oven to 350*
Using a hand mixer combine the melted butter with the sugar and vanilla.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each one is added
Add the cocoa and mix well
Add in the flour, baking powder and salt. Mix until just combined, do not over mix
Put 1 cup of brownie batter in a bowl and set to the side.
Line a 9×13 baking pan with aluminum foil and smooth the remaining batter in the pan
Using the cleaned hand mixer, beat the cream cheese in another bowl, add the sugar and beat until smooth
Add in the vanilla and the eggs, one at a time beating after each egg
Pour the cream cheese mixture on the top of the brownie mixture and using a spatula spread it evenly over the brownie batter
Sprinkle the chopped candy pieces on top of the cheesecake layer. There should be full coverage of the cheesecake layer with the candy pieces
Using a spoon, drop dollops of brownie batter over the top of the candy bar pieces.
Use a butter knife to swirl the layers together This will create a marble effect when it bakes. Do not mix the entire top, just in a few areas to cover the candy bar pieces with some of the batter.
Bake at 350* for 30 to 35 minutes
Cool completely before cutting into squares.
