I suggest you put a little magic in your kitchen with this magical lemon pie! If you follow this blog, then you definitely already know the magic cake: with one preparation, we get 3 layers after baking.
Here I present to you a tart version of this famous magic cake
°sugar 150 g
°vanilla sugar 1 sachet
°Milk 50 cl
°melted butter 100 gm
°Flour 110 g
°salt 1 pinch
°egg white 2
°sugar 90 g
1 Preheat the oven to 150 degrees.
Heat the milk with lemon peel until lukewarm.
3 Mix the egg yolks with sugar, vanilla sugar and lemon juice until the mixture turns white. Add the melted butter to the mixture, then the flour and salt and whisk.
4 Add the milk with the peel and stir well.
Stir the egg whites until stiff and gently work them into the preparation with a spatula. Gently mix with a whisk until the preparation becomes homogeneous.
6 Gently pour the dough into a round mold about 25 cm in diameter, previously covered with baking paper.
Do not bake more, not less than 50 minutes. Otherwise, your cake may not hold together or the layer may disappear. Let the cake cool before taking it apart.
For the meringues, beat the egg whites until stiff, then slowly add the sugar while continuing to whisk. Spread the meringue on top of the cake and brown it with a blowtorch. And for even more magic: sprinkle a few sugar stars!
