How To Make Beef and Cheese Chimichanga?

Today’s recipe is “Beef and Cheese Chimichanga”, it’s one of the most common Mexican dishes.

INGREDIENTS :

500 g ground beef.

3 cans of tomato sauce.

1 diced onion.

1 can of refried beans.

1 teaspoon chili powder.

1 teaspoon cumin.

2 minced garlic cloves.

1 minced jalapeno pepper.

2 cups cheddar cheese grated

8 tortillas.

salt and pepper to taste.

Vegetable oil.

INSTRUCTIONS :

STEP 1:

Brown ground beef in a nonstick skillet and breaking it apart with a wooden spoon as it cooks.

STEP 2:

in a large skillet, combine diced onion, tomato sauce, garlic, chili, salt, pepper, and cumin, and cook for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.

STEP 3:

On each tortilla, spoon about 1/3 cup of this cooked mixture, fold in both sides, and roll-up.

STEP 4:

Using a deep fat fryer, heat vegetable oil, and fry the chimichangas until browned, remove them and sprinkle with cheese.

STEP 5:

Serve it with the sauce.
